Nevertheless, I want to give you guys a little rundown of our music department because I know that you guys will be coming as musicians. So basically super, super excited that I will be seeing you guys at Foy next semester. But before we get to all of that, I want to tell you guys a little bit about why I love Georgia Southern so much. Well, first of all, our campus, it's not in the city. It is very calm, there's no traffic, you can walk everywhere. And it is very green in terms that not only we care about our sustainability, but also we have plenty of parks. Inside of campus, we have our Sweetheart Circle, which is a big, big circle as a park, that we can go and hang out on a nice day, we pull up our notes, and we can just chill in there with our friends and have a lot of fun. But also, if you walk down the pedestrian, you see plenty of trees. And right now, during the spring that everything is blooming, it just looks so beautiful. We also have our own botanical garden that I bet right now looks amazing.
But not only that, and the second reason why I love Georgia Southern so much is that in general, the university cares a lot about its students. And they care a lot about showing you why you belong there. And because of that, when I came as a freshman, I felt that it was my duty to do that for other students, because I want to show them why our university is so beautiful and why you should come here, and I'm so happy that you guys will be coming here.
So now the Music department. As freshmen, you guys will be coming in as a Music Performance major Music Education, Composition, Music Technology, or a BA in Art. So all of those majors are great. You guys can pick and choose whichever one you want, you can double major, or you can just jump around until you find which one fits best for you. It is totally okay because all of our majors work in Foy, and you will be taking basically the same classes. You will be taking your music theory, your oral skills, your piano classes, and then your ensemble classes. And it all is going to be so much fun. I honestly cannot wait to see you guys in the fall. You guys are gonna have so much fun with every single faculty member because they all are so different, but they all care about you, and your private lessons instructor is gonna teach you so much. You're gonna go to a whole other level that you truly didn't know you could reach, and it's amazing. It is gratifying. It is very busy, but the reward is satisfying, and you're honestly going to enjoy it a lot. And not only you'll get to play in recitals, you'll get to see your friends and your peers playing in other recitals, and it is honestly so much fun, and I honestly cannot wait to see you guys next fall.
If next fall you guys have any questions, and you see me at Foy or you see me on campus, and you need a friendly face to ask, please do not hesitate to ask me. I would love to answer any questions you have or help you in any way I can. That's why I'm an ambassador because I love helping you guys. So yeah, see you next fall, guys.
